Location

Sage Hills is located in the scenic Comox Valley on the Eastern side of Vancouver Island, just 2.5 hours from Vancouver by ferry and car, and 45 minutes by air. The Comox Valley is ideally positioned for easy access to the Mainland, Seattle and the Pacific Rim.

Comox Valley, known as the “Recreational Capital of Canada," offers beautiful scenery, attractive lifestyle advantages and a multitude of outdoor recreation opportunities.

The Valley has a population of just over 60,000 and is part of the Regional District of Comox-Strathcona, which includes the City of Courtenay, the Town of Comox and the Village of Cumberland. The Sage Hills property is close to the year-round Mount Washington Alpine Resort and the Comox Valley Airport, with direct flights from Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton.

The Valley is bordered on the West by the Beaufort Mountain Range with its breathtaking Comox Glacier and Strathcona National Park. On the East, it is bordered by the Strait of Georgia, Comox Harbour and Baynes Sound. The Valley ranges from sea level to 10,000 feet elevation with  mountainous alpine country.

The area features an excellent sea harbour, a moderate climate with high annual sunshine, a diversified four-season tourism industry, access to mountains, provincial parks and the ocean for recreational activities, a vibrant First Nations community, and a wide range of art and cultural activities and events.
